Making Mobility Easier for Foreign Workers

At Gesher, we work diligently to simplify licensing processes for foreignworkers in Israel. One standout initiative is our collaboration with the Ministry of Transport to translate the electric bicycle theory test (A3) into Chinese, benefiting Chinese construction workers who do not speak Hebrew or English. This effort enabled them to overcome the language barrier, successfully complete the exam, and ride electric bicycles in compliance with the law.

In addition, the organization assists foreign workers seeking to convert their foreign driver’s licenses to Israeli licenses, providing guidance through the various bureaucratic stages. Along with coordinating with the relevant authorities, help reduce excessive service fees, and confirm that they receive the required documents and support. In doing so, we uphold our mission-enhancing the well-being of migrant workers in Israel and easing their integration into everyday life.
